NPS 3 Mountain Bike Race Margam

Saturday 29th May was round 3 of the mountain bike National Point Series held at the popular venue of Margam Park near Port Talbot in South Wales. Last years edition was run off under a hot sun, this year it was cold and wet.

Southern XC Round 2, Pippingford

On Sunday Ross and Euan competed in round 2 of the Southern XC Series at Pippingford Estate near East Grinstead, using the same course as the National Champs in July. With temperatures incredibly high and some good riders there, the was racing was going to be fierce. NPS Round 2 Wasing Park

On Sunday, Ross, Euan and Rich headed to over to Wasing park near Reading for round 2 of the National MTB Series.

The course wound its way through the pituresque estate, taking in very little climbing but this didn’t make it any easier. Rutland - Melton Cicle Classic

The Cicle Classic is the only UCI ranked single day road race in the UK and, because of the sections of dirt roads and gravel tracks that characterize the race, one of my favourite races of the year. Race Round Up

Last weekend a number of the guys were busy racing around the UK. Ross was competing in the Rutland Melton Cicle Classic, Euan at the Brighton Mitre Hove Park Crits and staff riders Paul and Ben M were mixing it up at the Birmingham CC Crits.

Sunday 28th March saw the start of the 2010 mountain bike XC series. Round 1 was at Sherwood Pines near Mansfield and Red Kite had Ross Adams riding in the Elite race with brother Euan in with the Experts. Ross rode in the Wessex League round 1 on Saturday 13th March, this was held at Barnsfield near Christchurch. A 30 mile ride out to the course made sure he was well warmed up for the start.
