NPS 3 Mountain Bike Race Margam

Saturday 29th May was round 3 of the mountain bike National Point Series held at the popular venue of Margam Park near Port Talbot in South Wales. Last years edition was run off under a hot sun, this year it was cold and wet.

Ross rode in the Elite race whilst Euan took the start in the Expert category. Tim and Dave were making their debut in the Sports race whilst Richard and Mark flew the flag in the ever competitive…

Solihull Cyclo X 2009

Red kite had 3 riders in the Solihull C.C. Cyclo X race at Elmdon Park. Euan and Mark were old hands at this type of racing but Lionel was giving it a go for the first time. Euan ended up 4th which was quite pleasing for his first Cross race of the season. Lionel rode on on his 4 Cross bike and his view of the back of the race explained why no-one else was riding this type of bike.

Warwick Town Centre Crit Race 2009

September 2009 saw the latest running of the popular Warwick Crits, races for all ages and abilities round a very tight technical circuit in Warwick town centre. Mark Allen and Richard Harding were in the 3rd/4th category race whilst Euan Adams and Phil Gough rode the Elite event.
