National Cyclo X Championships

The Championship was held this year at Sutton Park. Delayed to February because of the snow in January.

Euan rode in the Elite race despite only having done a couple of events in the season. Mechanical problems caused further delays and a bike change so he finished towards the back of the field. Solihull Cyclo X 2009

Red kite had 3 riders in the Solihull C.C. Cyclo X race at Elmdon Park. Euan and Mark were old hands at this type of racing but Lionel was giving it a go for the first time. Euan ended up 4th which was quite pleasing for his first Cross race of the season. Lionel rode on on his 4 Cross bike and his view of the back of the race explained why no-one else was riding this type of bike.
