Race Round-Up

It’s been a busy few weeks for the race team. Last weekend it was the National MTB Champs, the Friday before Euan was racing the final round of the Brighton Mitre Hove Park Crit Series and Vicky was racing in the Hamburg Round of the Triathlon World Championship Series.

Hove Park Crits 21/5

Last night Euan and his new housemate Nick, went over to Brighton to compete in round 2 of the Brighton Mitre Hove Park Crit Series. Round 1 was 4 weeks ago which Euan won by lapping the bunch and putting 3/4 of a lap in to a chasing group of 3, so expectations were high. The 4th cat race was first up which Nick was competing in. Red Kite Staff Victorious At Vicky Park

On Saturday Red Kite staff riders Ben Mountford, Ben Thomas and Paul Blamire went over to Victoria Park in Leamington for the first of the spring criterium series.

The first race was the 4th cats which Paul was in, he road well keeping near the front and even went for a prime “god knows why he was sprinting for 2nd” anyways at the end of that race Paul rolled in with the main group resulting in his first top 15 placing…

Warwick Town Centre Crit Race 2009

September 2009 saw the latest running of the popular Warwick Crits, races for all ages and abilities round a very tight technical circuit in Warwick town centre. Mark Allen and Richard Harding were in the 3rd/4th category race whilst Euan Adams and Phil Gough rode the Elite event.

Tudor Grange Circuit Race 2009

Euan Adams and Phil Gough took part in the Solihull C.C. Crit race on the new circuit in Tudor Grange Park. Despite being very active during the race they missed the key break containing 2 riders and then lost out in the final sprint for the line.
