The airfield at Wellesbourne near Warwick has a small tearooms adjacent to the control tower. This is one of the cheapest cups of tea you will find around and they also do fruit cake and all day breakfasts. I hesitate to suggest this one as it is so close to the shop and anyone setting out from round here hasn’t really ridden far enough to justify stopping for tea and cakes at this point.
