We take our retail position very seriously, our commitment to the sport of cycling is equalled by our passion for ecology.

Obviously our carbon footprint is reduced by cycling to work each day but our commitment goes much further than that:

All our delivered goods packaging is recycled where possible, used for warranty returns items or protecting products.

Our staff area recycles plastics and glass from food consumed.

Low energy lighting keeps the overall energy consumption down.

Carrier bags are not offered by default and when they are given they are unprinted recycled bags.

Many of the cleaners and detergents we used throughout the store are all ecologically friendly products

But we aren’t stopping there:

Till receipts are printed on recycled paper.

You have the option of having a quote or invoice emailed to you helping to reduce paper usage

All of our product catalogues are printed on FSC paper

Business cards are not used - we email our contact details on request to all our suppliers and clients.

Our store uses renewable materials where possible for displaying bikes and products.

We even recycle inner tubes in conjunction with Trek which are used to produce a range of bags.

Our suppliers are pushed to supply products using recyclable materials that minimise the waste once the product is in use.

Some of the waterproofs are produced using environmentally friendly PVC materials.

We have added a UK manufacturer of energy bars, MULE, who produce products that are organic and fairtrade.

Our commitment to the environment is driving these practices and we hope you will join us in making the effort to secure the future of this wonderful world we all live in.

If you have any ideas how we can improve our green credentials even further then please let us know.
