Not Just a Bike Shop
What we don’t do is just sell bikes, or even worse bikes in boxes. We will spend time with you finding out about your cycling needs. Then we will combine that with our knowledge of what products are available within your budget in order to deliver a solution that meets your needs.
In order to deliver this level of service we are constantly updating our knowledge of new developments and products. We ride our own bikes, commuting, racing both on and off road and touring at home and abroad and we meet other riders to share experiences. We like to encourage women riders by stocking women specific products and organising women’s rides on summer evenings.
You can save up to 49% of the cost of buying a bike if your employer has signed up to the Government sponsored Cycle to Work scheme that we provide.
Sometimes when making a purchase you might like to try before you buy. We have demo stock available including saddles and Garmin GPS devices as well as bikes and wheels so you can be sure that when you do make the purchase it is the right one for you.
For many people a standard bike fit will be sufficient for their needs. However more demanding riders will know that if the bike is professionally set up for their particular size, flexibility and riding requirements then not only will it be more efficient, it will be more comfortable too. We have qualified staff who provide a custom fit service. The longer you spend in the saddle each day, then the more benefit you will get from this service.
If all this riding doesn’t wear you out it will certainly wear out the bike. We are able to help here too, with a fully equipped service centre where your bike can be serviced, repaired or tweaked to get it back on the road, or off-road, again.
