If you are riding out near Alcester and fancy a coffee and slice of cake then we can recommend the cafe and restaurant at Longbarn Village on the B4090 1 mile out of Alcester. Other attractions include a hair salon and beauty spa, a jewellery gallery, a kitchen and mosaic design studio together with home accessories and show gardens. There are also peacocks roaming in the grounds.

Wellesbourne Airfield

The airfield at Wellesbourne near Warwick has a small tearooms adjacent to the control tower. This is one of the cheapest cups of tea you will find around and they also do fruit cake and all day breakfasts. This is a very popular watering hole for local cyclists as well as motor bikers and the local police can often be seen there as well. Best avoided at peak times at the weekend in summer as it can…

Manor Farm Craft Centre

I hesitate to suggest this one as it is so close to the shop and anyone setting out from round here hasn’t really ridden far enough to justify stopping for tea and cakes at this point. However for those living further away who might venture into this neck of the woods it it well worth a visit.
