London to Paris - A Ride for Charity
June 21st, 2010 - Posted by Mike - RKC OwnerThe Route
Paul Fairburn writes…
My wife Jo Fairburn, friend Helen Pearcey and I, decided to take on a challenge this year to raise money for Everyman – the male cancer charity. This was undoubtedly because of the research and hard work done over the years to combat cancer – and we’re keen to see this continue.
We decided to do the ride with Skyline (www.skylineoverseas.co.uk). They organize…

Southern XC Round 2, Pippingford
May 26th, 2010 - Posted by EuskiOn Sunday Ross and Euan competed in round 2 of the Southern XC Series at Pippingford Estate near East Grinstead, using the same course as the National Champs in July. Hove Park Crits 21/5
May 22nd, 2010 - Posted by EuskiLast night Euan and his new housemate Nick, went over to Brighton to compete in round 2 of the Brighton Mitre Hove Park Crit Series. Triathlon World Championship Series, Seoul
May 10th, 2010 - Posted by EuskiAfter a fantastic weekend in Sydney I was really hoping for a repeat performance here in Seoul, having felt my training had been going well and that I was ready to go out there and give my all once again. Unfortunately it didn’t quite play out that way! I have only been to Asia once before – Gamagori in 2005 – and that was a pretty terrible race for me. So now with this weekends’ performance added onto that one,…

NPS Round 2 Wasing Park
May 9th, 2010 - Posted by Mike - RKC OwnerOn Sunday, Ross, Euan and Rich headed to over to Wasing park near Reading for round 2 of the National MTB Series.

The first half of the course was very heavy going through tight loamy singletrack and steep banks, opening up into a very rapid second half of fireroad and fast flowy singletrack through meadows of bluebells. Considering the rain…
